Liz, You do Not Understand Math, if one is Paying higher Amounts than others in terms of Income Taxes, then one is paying more in absolute terms than others then you are being treated Unequally by definition. Just as it is not Legal for Private Company to treat its Customers Differently, why is it OK that Government gets to operate under different rules. Equal is Equal….when you go to dinner with friends do split the check 50% or do say to your Friends you make far more than I proportionally, so I will pay 30% and you 70%?
