@oditams kalo mindsetnya masih gini mending profil pink ijonya dicabut. panjang umur perjuangan tapi aspirasi penumpasan marjinalitas terhadap status kelas sampe gender dibilang "doomed" kalo disuarakan sama kaum2 yg gak senovelty orang bersarjana.
The duality in Indonesia is kinda gross for me.
- Soft spoken, people will look down at you.
- Swearing all the time, people will look at you as a rude person.
Wtf.
Situational reminder that the 1998 tragedy and general anti-Chinese sentiment in Indonesia are well known amongst mainland Chinese. Their solidarity extends beyond borders, even if current convention tries to hide it.
Wait, so you’re against the PINK symbol & protesting Ibu Ana just because she use “harsh” words? Then what abt your president who OPENLY used “ndasmu, brengsek, goblok” in a national forum to mock his colleagues and people?
Plus, why should we stay polite to those b**tard?
Some clarification to our Twitter friends:
- The summary was NOT done in 3 hours and by the people in that phone call only
- A dozen of organizations (I can share the list) worked together to come up with that
- When I reached out to Andovi and Abigail, they connected this whole thing to Jerome and Malaka friends
- Then we finalized the narrative rather quickly because we thought it needs to get out by Monday
- No, it wasn’t meant to be a COMPLETE list but more as a prioritization exercise, though we do appreciate inputs on all the bills and reforms that are not included
- Let’s fight the fundamentals together, *then* we start addressing ALL the issues one by one
I really am trying my best to love and do something for this country I know you guys are too.
