One of the most important lessons I learned at Burning Man, which is a "gifting economy", is that in order to be able to give people gifts (which is fun), you need to have people to *receive* them. If everybody only ever wants to give gifts, nobody gets to get them.

So being accepting of a gift can be just as much of a gift as giving a gift. You need a dance partner!
