This Takedown proves the devs have it in them. Big steps forward with insane QoL improvements, but sadly held back by the overall design philosophy of BL4

It's a very solid piece of endgame content that could be the foundation the best Takedown yet. More Takedowns please!!!

The Takedown is fun and I really, really like the tutorial/story run. A cutscene-& voiceline-free version after that? MozeHellYeah.wav! Need that in BL3!!!

And though I unconditionally love BL3 I'm torn on the use of Mayhem (as a term). I don't know yet

The areas don't feel unique enough. They're big rooms but slightly different and with mostly the same enemies. But I guess that goes for all of BL4

The midbosses aren't unique enough like Valkyries or Anathema. They're minor mini bosses in just another big room

1 month in I still (and I genuinely mean this) cannot tell you the mechanics of the Mad Ellie bosses. Because I couldn't be bothered to switch off the Bod, Watts and Dancer

@lil_gasmask I agree. People hate to hear it, but nerfs need to happen. If they keep balancing future difficulty around the broken meta/glitches, that will just end up with your limited options like OP levels in BL2. Nerfing a few things is much better than buffing everything for balance.
