This is Zig Ziglar.
The man Tony Robbins worshipped like a god.
He taught Tony a philosophy that made him one of the wealthiest humans alive...
Here's the philosophy:
Great leaders have no interest in counter-productive communication.
At all costs they avoid gossip, complaining, and dwelling on problems outside their control.
The strong act, the weak chatter.
"The math in chalkboard decisions is irrefutable. And yet, the best decisions are often based on positioning yourself for things you can't see."

One way to build up confidence is by keeping promises you make to yourself. If you always let yourself down, you’ll start feeling like there’s nothing stable to depend on internally. Confidence boils down to having trust in your own abilities. That’s the antidote to insecurity.
Build your self esteem around your willingness to acknowledge your inadequacies in service of constant improvement.
Sounds obvious, but most people build their self esteem around being right. That’s the recipe for a small life of constant insecurity.
Your body has near limitless ways to find more energy, get infinitely smarter and do things you thought you’d never be able to do.
It just doesn’t have the fear to make it find how
Put yourself in hard positions that have consequences if you don’t perform
You’ll pull it off
Where you apply focus matters more than how much focus you have.
In life, there is a hidden asymmetry. If you apply your focus like everyone else, you will get the same results as everyone else. Understanding where to apply your focus makes a massive difference in results.
The difference between good and great is found in consistently doing the boring things you know you should do exactly when you feel like doing them the least.
Bad decisions accumulate, making your position increasingly worse. You can think of it like playing Tetris.
When you’re in a bad position, you need just the right piece to clear the board. When you’re in a good position, it doesn’t matter what comes next.
What you avoid today is harder to do tomorrow.
Today’s choices become tomorrow’s position. If you put off things today, they don’t magically disappear. They just get added to the list of things you want to do.
Don’t wait till tomorrow. Tomorrow is where dreams go to die.
What seems like the fast way in the moment is the long way in the end.
Shortcuts and cutting corners might make it seem like you’re going faster, but those tiny debts accumulate into an anchor.
Short-term actions eventually become long-term weights.
