CRDCU, UK No. 10 DELIVERY UNIT DEEPEN COLLABORATION ON GOVERNMENT PERFORMANCE AND RESULTS DELIVERY The Special Adviser to the President on Policy and Coordination, @hadizabalausman, today led members of the Central Results Delivery Coordination Unit (CRDCU) in a virtual peer exchange with the United Kingdom's No. 10 Delivery Unit (10DU), bringing together delivery experts from both countries to exchange ideas, share experiences and strengthen collaboration on government performance management and results delivery. The engagement served as a platform to deepen institutional learning and explore practical approaches to building effective delivery systems that drive measurable outcomes across government. During the session, the Special Adviser presented Nigeria's evolving delivery architecture, highlighting the establishment of the CRDCU, its mandate, mission and functions, the performance management framework supporting the implementation of the eight Presidential Priority Areas, and the structured approach to defining ministerial deliverables and Key Performance Indicators. She also outlined the Unit's methodology for quarterly performance assessments, data collection and validation, ministerial and priority scorecards, and the use of the CRDCU Performance Management Portal to support evidence-based decision-making, executive oversight and accountability across Ministries, Departments and Agencies. The peer exchange provided an opportunity for both the CRDCU and the UK's No. 10 Delivery Unit to compare experiences, discuss common delivery challenges and identify lessons that can further strengthen government performance. Participants reflected on the importance of political leadership, credible performance data, stakeholder ownership, continuous engagement and collaboration in improving public sector delivery. The engagement reaffirmed the longstanding partnership between Nigeria and the United Kingdom and underscored the value of continuous learning, innovation and cooperation in delivering measurable, citizen-centred outcomes.

The Special Adviser to the President on Policy and Coordination, @hadizabalausman, alongside the Hon. Minister of Information and National Orientation, @HMMohammedIdris joined the Presidential Communications Team on a working visit to the National Agency for Science and Engineering Infrastructure (NASENI), where the Executive Vice Chairman, Khalil Suleiman Halilu, led the delegation on a tour of the agency’s landmark achievements under President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda. The delegation was taken through some of NASENI’s locally developed innovations, including made-in-Nigeria drones, electric vehicles, renewable energy solutions, agricultural equipment, digital technologies, and advanced manufacturing projects. The tour revealed the agency’s growing contribution to industrialisation, technology transfer, job creation, and Nigeria’s drive towards self-reliance through innovation. The visit formed part of efforts to showcase the tangible outcomes of the Renewed Hope administration across key government institutions, while reinforcing strategic coordination and effective communication of programmes and projects that are delivering measurable impact for Nigerians.
