Very soon I'll be looking for a playtesters for my upcoming puzzle game. So far I only did physical playtests and results were very promising. Hopefully in September I'll launch a public playtest on steam.

Recently I spoke in Tedx about how games make us face more losing situations which helps us be more prepared for such situations IRL and learn more from our losses to achieve future victories.
@cleaspaintbrush I played Cyberpunk on launch, and she bugged. After getting out from the coffin fight didn't start, but she kept haunting me and whispering for an hour before I manage to trigger the actual fight
I've been telling this to my students about genAI. In order for genAI to be profitable they will keep increasing the usage cost, so students should learn to become programmers the old way so they can become self-sufficient programmers who don't over-rely on genAI.
When I speak during my class about one of Game designer's job is solving problems in a fun way this is the example I bring. They added the demon post-factum after realizing players were farming xp on cows.
Here's my favorite writer telling why I am against genAI better than me.
"The process of making art, makes art of you... We are the Art"
Unfortunately, People who never struggled to create will never understand it. They care only about the final product.

I start my course by telling students that GenAI removes the easy hurdles they have to overcome to become good programmers.
Seeing other professors encourage it deeply saddens me.
Actual talk with professor of concept art from my school:
"I think I want to make a bestiary for my diploma and write my diploma about that as well"
"...and for example, how you can use AI generated animal images to in their design?"
"...No..." (my head almost starts hurting)

You can tie the following method to a button to integrate your Steam Page inside a Unity Game, so it opens your page inside the Steam Client. Mainly used in demos to suggest wishlisting.
Don't forget to change to your game's appID instead of "3339000".

If you live in Yerevan and like Games join us in the first-ever AUA's Game Expo (and perhaps in #Armenia ) where AUA students will bring their games which you can play.
A few other devs will also join us bringing their own games. Mark your calendars, October 18, AUA, 10am-4pm.
Update HoMM is sooo Back, It definitely captured the HoMM spirit but it also had enough fresh ideas for it to stand out. I plan to get it on release. Of course there were quite a few problems with it that I hope they'll fix before release.
Imho using genAI art in your game is like mixing dirt with the soul you put in it. And even a little dirt will spoil a good dish. But I'm a known genAI hater so I might be biased.
