BREAKING: FedEx Has Officially Surrendered Gated Community Delivery
@FedEx has quietly decided it no longer wishes to deliver packages to gated residential communities.

@FedEx Fix #4: Policy โ Training โ Culture. In that order.
Bad policy produces bad training. Bad training produces drivers who mark a house "Business Closed."
You can't culture-fix a policy problem. Rewrite the policy first. Then retrain. Then measure whether the behavior changed.
@EvanKirstel@EvanKirstel My AI assistant saw we are meeting today and reminded me that the Iast time we were in touch it was about your dream ๐. Looking forward to reconnecting!
to see clear calm waves represents renewal? clarity - you may be reflecting on an important decision. Ladder can mean you're setting goals, or looking for higher status or promotion, or increased spiritual awareness. Buildings are self- their height represents a rising level of understanding. Looking at it from the base represents your primitive nature. They are white which represents renewal, peace, purity, reflection. Is that a serpent in the water? Represents the balance of good and evil. What AI tool did you use?
@joherkhan@fdotinc Tell me if it works! My father is suffering cant afford to replace his and won't let me help pay for it. If I sent these to him and they did not work it would be crushing.
Google Cloud announced something vital at the keynote this morning, and most of the coverage is going to miss it. While the headlines will focus on the 8th gen TPU or the latest Gemini models, that is the wrong place to look.
The enterprise AI bottleneck has never been the model. It is the absence of a trust layer that allows an organization to say with confidence: "This agent has the right permissions, the right context, and a full audit trail."
Without that, pilots stay pilots forever. That is the tell from this morning's keynote.
The proof was on the stage today through massive, real world deployments:
- Citi deployed agents to 150,000 employees.
- Deutsche Bank compresses hundreds of pages of research into one page briefs in seconds.
- Cox transformed its entire contact center operations.
- HSBC runs content agents tied directly to growth metrics.
The common thread in every one of those stories is context and trust first. The agents knew what they were allowed to do, what data they needed, what it could access, and what required human approval. That specific architecture is what moved these companies from pilot to production.
Outcomes, Not Capabilities
Thomas Kurian kept returning to three specific outcomes: Trust, Speed, and Intelligence. Creating an edge for your business. Enterprise buyers do not purchase capabilities. They purchase outcomes they can defend to a board, a regulator, or a CISO who just learned that adversaries have collapsed the response window to 22 seconds.
The era of "AI for AI's sake" is over. We have entered the era of the Trusted Agent.
Anthropic just turned the entire BI stack into a checkbox in a $20 subscription.
Tableau charges $75-$115 per user per month for what Cowork now does in a prompt. Looker's enterprise floor starts around $30K a year. Retool raised at a $3.2B valuation building exactly this: dashboards connected to your apps and files, refreshed with live data. They hit $120M ARR last October on it.
Claude Pro is $20/month. Cowork is included. The dashboard, the data connection, and the auto-refresh are now one prompt and a connector approval.
The pitch for $75/seat Tableau was always the connectors plus the visualization layer. Cowork has the connectors (Slack, Salesforce, Drive, Asana, Jira) and Claude writes the visualization in 30 seconds. The pitch for Retool was that engineers could ship internal tools in hours instead of weeks. Cowork ships them in minutes for people who can't write a SQL query.
Every internal tools team at every mid-sized company exists because "live pipeline metrics view" used to require a Retool license, a data engineer, and two sprints. That whole job description is starting to compress into a chat message.
Tableau, Looker, and Retool all priced on the assumption that dashboards are scarce and creators are rare. Cowork inverts both. Every employee can build their own dashboard. Fewer Creator licenses, fewer Explorer licenses, fewer Retool seats per company from here.
Cowork isn't the BI category killer yet. But it's coming for the seat count, and the seat count is the whole business.
