@shipwreckshow I hate summer. Passed the peak, days are beginning to get shorter now, Target clearing garden & BBQ shelves, prepping for back to school. Costco already has a giant skeleton anticipating Halloween. Positive signs!
@anasalhajji Grok - it is not on a major subduction zone like parts of Chile, Japan, or Indonesia, so it lacks the extremely high frequency and magnitude of events seen in those “Ring of Fire” areas. Includes California as much higher risk.
@AnaCabrera WTF? Quit watching Network stuff, you were always a favorite back in your CNN days. Didn’t know you were MSNBC until I heard you signing off today on XM just by mere chance. I’ll keep an eye out for your next adventure. Carry on!
@generic_void Depends on the time of year and your tolerance for crowds. Central Coast, San Luis Obispo area, Hwy 1 to Big Sur (if it’s open!). Mt Shasta - Siskiyou Wonderland.
@dks_230 Hardly considered a “freight train” by any standard. It’s an industrial material handling platform. American 120 ton Coal hoppers emptied by inverting upside down.
@TheOfficerTatum And they wonder why enrollment is declining. 25 years ago Davis was the place to be for the schools. The schools and town are circling the drain.
@SullyCNBC My Dad died in his 60’s, he was Army in the Pacific for the duration. Sailing from SF in Feb ‘42. Never talked about it only to tell mom the happiest day in his life was sailing home thru the Golden Gate.
@Sea_Glass1115@RepThomasMassie Don’t stay quiet. Live the good rural life away from the DC cesspool but continue speaking out now that you can throw off the shackles of political life. You might find you can be more effective where it counts on your own.
@jrbergsten@thedarshakrana@thecurioustales There were sketchy neighborhoods in PA in those days. There was a fine line between PA and EPA as well as Park Blvd - Page Mill Rd. Most of PA was middle class, nothing like today’s uber wealthy enclave.
