On Friday 15th, is the second reading of the resentencing of IPPs in the House of Lords. There is no justification for this not to go through and finally correct this longstanding torture for those still serving it and their families so they can be free to live their lives.

As I type this, approx 1800 IPP licences have now been terminated. Although this is a big moment for some of us, we still all must support the movement to have every single IPP left in the system released.

"Work through their sentence" @JamesTCobbler? They have 'worked through' their original sentence tariff years ago, in some cases decades. You are arbitrarily keeping them locked up in prison. That is a crime that will catch up with you and the whole ministry. #IPPscandal

Prison doesn't prevent people from causing crime. Just ask the staff & other inmates who have been abused, robbed, raped or killed. Our current system is simply an institute to prefect your crime, not a place for rehabilitation & learning a better way.

Tbf hmp do the same hmp highpoint stopped drug test for almost a year so they didn't lose c cat status
