SESLaw Advocates LLP,
As corporate member of the Kenya National Chamber of Commerce and Industry, which was the organiser, we participated at the Kazakhstan-Kenya Business Forum earlier today in Runda, hosted by the Kazakhstan's Ambassador to Kenya. Kazakhstan is an Upper Middle Economy with a GDP of $ 300 USD Billion - apparently the largest economy in Central Asia. The Kenya Investments Authority supported by both Kenya's Economic Diplomacy department at Foreign Affairs Ministry & the State Department of ICT strongly pitched for investment opportunities in Kenya as did, Kazakhstan's Enterprise Authority. As a Practice, we stand ready to offer all the necessary support to investors from both sides of the two Friendly Nations to realise the best of their trade, business, investments and economic bilateral relations.
The KNCCI's Business Development & Marketing Lead, Ms. Diane Onditi, paid a Courtesy Call on SESLaw Advocates @SeslawLLP, which has been a corporate member of the Kenya National Chamber of Commerce and Industry over the past four years. As usual, we look forward to a mutually beneficial relationship with KNCCI by availing Best Client Experiences to both local and multinational investors through this partnership.
SN001 WUON DAYAT won in one of the Club Night Divisions at The Royal Nairobi Golf Club Thursday this week. Today, two days later, we have bagged a similar win on Competition. This, seems that year of The Lord and will be a Good Year, No doubt😊.
WHEN THE LEADERSHIP OF YOUNG OKIL KAMALOKA ASSOCIATION (a 500+ strong Group of young Luo lawyers of 10yrs and below in practice), paid me a Courtesy Call at SESLaw Advocates in November 2024, I told them one thing - that the place of Mentorship and Networking remains integral in nurturing excellence and grounding professional and personal growth in the legal profession. I also reminded them that the culture of mentorship that embraces sensitivities to welfare issues, change and diversity in terms of innovative lawyering ultimately enables the young lawyers to navigate nuanced complexities of the modern world and adhere to the high ethical demands while upholding core values. I have consistently followed through and proudly associated with the amazing trajectories the YOK team has registered the past year including but not limited to their targetted community outreach and support programmes/ legal aid clinics. I am in awe of the thoughtful End Year Gift they've sent to me, in appreciation. We remain proudly associated and give our Word of continued partnership and support.
ADWA GWEYOOO TO POD ALUOR! JOWI! JOWI!

PEER MOMENTS would refer to informal and formal networking instances where legal professionals, both at practice and management levels, interact with or are evaluated by their colleagues especially within the prism and context of professional development, ethical conducts, strategies on navigating the Kenyan and African legal landscapes including but not limited to building a successful legal career, client management strategies, deployment of effective legal techniques and leveraging the place of technology in offering innovative legal solutions towards best client experiences whether private corporates, public entities or individuals. These moments are always A1 with Wakili George Ogembo. @SeslawLLP .
