Teen flight attendant missing amid drug scandal, family threatened in Durban

A 19-year-old woman, who recently qualified as a flight attendant, went missing from her Trenance Park home on Saturday morning, sparking a desperate search by her family.

Dylana Morgen, who resides in Caper Crescent, left her home around 10h30 AM without informing her parents or extended family. When her family discovered her absence, they found her phone left behind in her bedroom.

A closer inspection of her WhatsApp messages revealed concerning conversations with an adult male from Ethekwini, KZN. These messages contained discussions about drug use, along with images and videos depicting cocaine and a cocktail containing cough syrup.

The family suspects that the man in question is a drug dealer, allegedly supplying Morgen with various substances. Upon reaching out to the phone number, the man confirmed that Morgen was at his residence but refused further contact with the family. As the situation escalated, a second man joined the conversation and issued death threats to the parents, warning them not to enter his residential area.

RUSA officers are currently in possession of the suspect’s photograph, and efforts to locate the missing teenager are ongoing.
