Hoyo is tightening the noose on FTP players as they will never see these new light cones “Redemption” in Honkai Star Rail, unless they are available to be pulled for as standard or lost to? I am unaware if they can be. Please correct me if I’m wrong.

1 SHARD is locked behind level ten of the battle pass premium (so one LC per 4 patches) and 4 of them are locked behind spending 65$ USD with no other way to pull them that is visible on launch of the patch.

It’s very obvious that this anniversary patch was made to extort the remaining players. That’s not even including the other “spending rewards” and traditional microtransactions thrown in your face like 690% Percent in value. Yes, this is a real number in the shop.

I love this game but damn that’s a lot of micro transactions thrown in your face and flashy numbers.
