People hear “Wyoming” and picture the Tetons. In reality that’s a small slice of a state that is treeless, windy and oftentimes bleak. Only one city has +50,000 people. If you don’t arrive there already having made your millions, it’s a hard place to scratch out a life. People make their money in mining, drilling and agriculture. Wal-Mart is the biggest employer in the state... The second largest is the University of Wyoming. It’s damn near impossible to recruit football players there, but the school brings pride to a lot of people. Spend time traveling across the whole of Wyoming and you’ll find it’s a hard place not to pull for… Watching this tonight made me happy, and reminded me why college football is great. They’re trying to price the Wyomings out of college football. Don’t forget there are people who live and die with teams like the Cowboys with just as much passion as fans of the big brands
Gonna start referring to pOwEr fIvE schools by exactly what they don’t wanna be. UNC-Chapel Hill, UT-Knoxville, UT-Austin, University of Georgia-Athens, Georgia Institute of Technology, University of California-Los Angeles, Pennsylvania State University…who are we missing?
Dear @NCAAFootball How does @UTSAFTBL report Power 5 Schools who are trying to poach our young talent? How much evidence do we really need to make this not be a part of our game?
The transfer portal is killing recruiting for some high school kids. Do you know how many times this year I’ve heard college coaches say, we going to see what we get from the transfer portal 1st.
This guy had the guts to speak from the heart about Balenciaga while his gutless co-hosts quaked in fear of having an Unapproved Opinion.
He ripped out his earpiece because he was being told to stop and he didn’t care.
Bravo.
