#columbusprotest#columbusprotests please be safe, please default to preserving the life and health of others, but bit also don't let up. I have to work today but I'll help where I can.
Anyone in need of sanctuary - food or shelter - is welcome at my home near hudson and summit.
@infectur@RLHeinrichs@AOC It's fear mongering. The clip is implying that millenials can't make good legislators, or that women that are motivated ('girlboss') are inherently going to ruin things.
@4VRNOCTURNALME @Kereminde @Schnurrbartist @mjcrivelli@neilhimself Poe's law: it's impossible to be sure about whether someone is being sarcastic or serious on the internet.
@MightyKraken@NoobtheLoser Tech guy here: this works because sometimes the issue is cracked solder joints. Using temperature changes (see also the 'towel trick for Xbox 360 red ring of death) to get bits touching each other again can help, but if it works, the first thing you should do is...
@JOzereko @BenDChambers @TeawithTolkien A primary theme is that evil comes back, but seriously diminished, because evil's power is finite. Morgoth was way more powerful than sauron, and smaug was a little twerp compared to his predecessors.
@richjohnston@neilhimself He's mentioned before that it did mess up some of the calculations. I'm hoping that Netflix realizes that it makes it special, rather than dismissing it.

A elf woman 'piloted' the last fruit of laurelin, and is very consistent.
An elf man is smitten with the pilot of the sun, and volunteers to 'pilot' the last flower of ...>
@ola210_toyin @neilhimself iirc, this is from when death is trying to give dream a perspective on humans, to help him break out of a depressive episode. He observes 3 or 4, and each of them asks something like "why so soon?"
Very important to his character arc, specifically how he grows in compassion.
@NoobtheLoser Possible a bad connection. Maybe in the drive itself, or where it's connecting. Have you tried hooking it up to a different machine?
Possible a bad board in the drive. Unlikely if it's an internal drive, easy fix if it's an external.
Are the noises normal, other than volume?
@NoobtheLoser Yep, it's been pretty weird experiencing this second-hand.
FYI avoid red meat and dairy if you can. They apparently make everyone have a minor amount of swelling that we don't notice- but if you've got arthritis it'll keep you in more pain.
