@LakeShowJerry They are the only 2 players that got me out of my seat while in college.
They share elite vision, and game feel. Otherwise very different. CC did more with less in college. But it might be different in the W. Too early for me to call.
@iknowWhiteGold I'm a big CC fan, but this is just not true.
Miles is producing like CC was but with much better efficiency and a lot fewer tov's, and she is leading her team to wins.
@jrichardgoodman I think the reason is that CC can make passes for layups from almost anywhere on the court. They want to impede her progress and her vision by getting into her very early.
It contact is not called it also obviously frustrates her and wares her down.
@Ser_Dweeb Yeah, while she was in college I noted her ability to make one handed passes on the move with either hand, including xcourt passes to players on the move -- very rare.
Add that to her floor vision & feel, handle, and ability to get to the rim & finish with either hand. 1 of 1.
@stevemagness It's the elevation off the ground and the one hand control of the ball that makes dunking exciting and artful. Both Jordan and Dr J had huge hands and were leapers.
Lowering the hoop would not accomplish that in the womans game.
@conor64 Magic was my favorite player, but he did have Kareem and and some other dudes.
Bird Joined a 29 win team made them a 60 win team in year 1 and they it all in year 2.
Bird and Magic should both be in the graphic, but then the text would be negated.
@Vadimony@Ser_Dweeb Yes, the big difference between how the two teams play is in their pace.
Fever prefer fast pace. Don't want to face GSV's 1/2 court D every time down the court.
I agree with top post otherwise on being smart with Tov's.
We need to win the glass, and run. Difficult at GSV.
@cc22report Yes, if the back is an ongoing issue I wanted this.
(1) It is the rule
(2) It does help with communication
If the back is no longer an issue that could popup any minute causing a missed gm than she shouldn't probable. But if it might popup as an issue probable is correct.
@MeganMorgan295 It's very simple. They need to communicate transparently, truthfully, and in a timely manner to the fans who buying the tickets and providing the values that supports all the WNBA money.
They have failed at that task repeatedly over the last two seasons.
@seeratsohi@jumpymammoths Yeah -- I have supported SW and the FO and that is why I'm not happy. Plus I'm old school. You get paid to play. All this new money is based on fan interest.
Feels like CC and Aliyah being staggered against weak teams -- not fair to the fans.
@robinlundberg This how I lost interest in the NBA after being a junkie for many years. It's not day-day thing like last year. I think they are load managing, staggering Aliyah and CC against weak teams they can beat with one of the two.
John Stockton played 82 gms in 16 diff yrs. This sucks
@cc22report Also, this 'not a new injury' language is obscurant and unhelpful. If was previously fine to play on, and now it is not -- that sounds like a new development. From no injury to out is new.
@Matthew29490729@cc22report Yup, and if there is an active injury it should be reported publicly in a timely fashion.
Just disrepectfull to the fans who are responsible for all the new CBA money.
@MeganMorgan295 Yeah, sorry.
I have been supporting SW and the FO against the crazies this whole season, but this is just not fair to paying fans. They are required to notify of status by 5pm yesterday -- was that done?
@cc22report Really disappointing. I stopped watching the NBA over stuff like this.
If it is true that there is no new injury they should have announced this early for those buying tickets.
I'm all for sitting starters early in blowouts, but if not injured -- players should play !!!
