Dear Men,
It is not insecurity to weigh the kind of men the woman you choose to date or marry has dated before. It is self awareness. No matter how much she says she loves you, the man you are and what you come with either makes her nostalgic of her past relationship or relieved of them. You will always be compared to her past experiences. If she dated a man who bought her a lexus, you will never be enough until you can either match it or get lucky that she perceives life with maturity.
@ntvuganda you have lost it. Be brave enough to report news directly instead of using sarcasm. I do not know if your news editor knows it but sarcasm is a no go when it comes to hard news ie political or business news. 90% of viewers do not understand sarcasm. They will consume the news story literally. Sarcasm inherently carries an opinion or a judgement which clearly signals bias. Your news stories are losing objectivity even though they sound like music to some ears. Not that I am a fan of @mkainerugaba, but it is clear your newsroom has a personal vendetta against him. In your news stories, most especially of late, you want to attack him but do not have the balls to do it directly. So you have resorted to sarcasm which now displays your disregard to the principles of journalism. Sarcasm misinforms. If you want to attack the man do it directly. Donβt go around the corners. Have the balls.
Initially, women are not expected to approach a man first, but I want to push this agenda: if a woman sees a man she is interested in, she should go ahead and tell him. There is nothing wrong with that.
