Steve Park and Dale Jr. tested together at Watkins Glen in 1997 in anticipation of Dale’s first BGN road course race.
“The only thing Dad told me was keep it out of the fence.”
Morgan Shepherd DNQ’d at Michigan in 1997 but was on standby for Jeff Burton, who was beat up after a practice crash.
Shepherd also took the No. 99 car out in final practice.
Man, I love North Wilkesboro.
Watching the leaders dice through lapped traffic kept me on the edge of my seat.
The sights and sounds of those hallowed grounds are one of a kind.
An absolute classic.
Forever thankful for those who helped bring it back!
Came across the results of the 2011 NW race at Daytona.
1st and 4th place were JGR cars. I think about J.D. and Coy.
Steve Turner owned the cars that finished 2-3. One of them was driven by Jason Leffler.
Kyle Busch was fourth. Michael Annett sixth. Eric McClure drove too.
Prime allowing us to watch Denny celebrate & honor Kyle in silence, gave me goosebumps.
It made us think of Kyle. Made us think of all Denny has went through.
The No. 11 winning made us remember Ned.
The No. 18 flag waving brought back memories of Dale, Davey and Alan.
Speechless. Goosebumps.
A moment that will stay with us forever.
So proud to be a part of this big NASCAR family with each and every one of you reading this. ❤️
In a week full of moments that left us all speechless, Prime has used their platform to perfectly articulate who Kyle Busch was both on and off the track.
The somber mood of the broadcast and the words that his grieving friends & competitors used are what we all needed tonight.
Jeff Burton’s late 90’s stretch has always been underrated.
