Not that anything else was happening this morning in NYC area, but ICYMI: @PANYNJ investing $430M in PATH Forward plan - will lead to a more reliable system!

We're kicking off #climateweek here @PANYNJ by releasing our Roadmap to Net Zero, a comprehensive plan to decarbonize our operations and fight climate change @sklee_ca https://t.co/7TROrNyXo5
What makes this plan unique? We are also working closely with our partners in aviation, ports and transportation to help them reach their climate goals as well! It's a collaborative and broad approach to meet the climate crisis head on
In addition to the two schools on W. 152nd St. in this article, we just finished installing containers at PS 161 on W. 133rd St.
Lots more to come. We're serious about ending the piles of black bags.
See page 76 at https://t.co/165Jl0evSk to find out more about this new pilot.
Love to see the progress. This Bike Boulevard creates a low-stress cycling experience for all through a few one-way diversions and some chicanes. The only actual bike lanes are the contra-flows on the one-way blocks. This enhances safety for drivers, cyclists, and pedestrians.
Professional News: I am continuing my circuit of NYC’s transportation agencies, and have just joined the @PANYNJ media relations team. Transpo reporters you know how to find me!
A Statement from Cargi B, NYC DOT's First Electric Pedal-Assist Cargo Bike
"Now I like bike lanes, I like roadways, I like making street repairs
I like all of your cargo, get my keys, I’ll take you there
They call me Cargi Bardi, metal body, pedal mami, hot bike always”
Between e-bikes, scooters, and ridesharing, going car-free has never sounded so tempting.
But what does it really cost to own a car?
Let’s break it down:

It's official: we got Divvy for the entire city! Chicagoans can now begin and end rides throughout the city, and @lyft@ChicagoDOT will begin installing more classic stations and classic bikes!
More cities should follow the Bay Area’s lead.
Bikeshare is fantastic, and e-bikes could make it even better – if systems can tap public $$.
If not, bikeshare could disappear, as in Minneapolis. That would be a terrible loss, for all of us.

Post-pandemic, we've seen a huge boost in Citi Bike ridership on greenways, especially over the weekend; this expansion will mean better, safer, and easier Citi Biking for Bronxites
New @lyft ebikes hitting the streets in DC! 850 of our next -gen ebikes will join @bikeshare increasing the # of ebikes by 150%. @MayorBowser's partnership makes this possible 👍
A bit of personal news - I’ve joined @lyft where I will be working on bikeshare and scooter comms! So all my @CitiBikeNYC NYC transit press corps - I’m back, you know how to find me, for good or for ill. Hit me up w/@jordanlevine1
