And while a pep talk may embolden the people, we can't escape the truth. We can't pretend things were good under Trump. It doesn't make it true.

@DarthJML @krassenstein I hope this helps: I was raised in a former communist country, and some older people there(60+) think things were better under communism. The reality is that they still believe the old propaganda. My own family suffered horribly under that rule. Trump had a similar effect. (1/2)
