Operation Fansan Yamma troops have neutralised a suspected terrorist in Shinkafi, Zamfara State, after engaging a group of terrorists on motorcycles.
The suspect was found with camouflage gear, 4 phones and ₦30,350 cash. His phone also reportedly contained photos of him posing with a PKM machine gun.
The message is simple, our security forces are not sleeping. The North-West must know peace again. 🇳🇬💪🏾

Kindly have a listen.
I have observed one thing with indigenes of Ilorin. If someone says 'omo Ilorin ni mi', the version of his story, regarding Sheikh Alimi and Afonja will depends on a number of factors:
(1) Lineage: The version of story that will be told by someone who is from Idi-Ape or other Yoruba quarters will be different from what someone who is of Fulani, Barubas, Tapas, Bagobiri, Malian, Sudanese or Bornu descent. Majority of popular Ilorin clerics are of non-Yoruba descendants
(2) Cleric or Layman: Generally speaking, Muslim clerics regardless of descent will always side with Sheikh Alimi regardless of descent. Whereas laymen who are religiously lukewarm tend to be neutral. But a religious Layman will also tend to take side.
In summary there are different versions of Ilorin stories. The version you hear depends on who is telling it.
@aniky_bee come and listen to your people. This one don dey re-write una history
“Prophet Muhammad had a particular beard that glows whenever it is a day to begin Ramadan, which helped determine the start of Ramadan.”

@ogbeni_akorede@CHULLY1010 You may be right. He didn't have his number back then, as a nobody, and only realised it was Asake when he has finally blown and now a celebrity sought out. But, it was still no excuse for not acknowledging.
Reminds me of the saying that the rich only make friends with the rich.
