Anything can be addictive. It’s why and how it becomes and addiction that is a problem. Most people with any sort of addiction rely on such addiction as a form of scapism. When considering it from that angle, even then, it’s far healthier compared to others such as drinking, drugs, smoking, porn, scamming, etc.

Don’t focus on gaming as being bad, rather on what’s making people become addicted to the form of scapism.

Blaming them only for the situation it’s grossly underestimating the problem. This industry is a vicious cycle that consumes men and women because of lust and greed. The market behind it, the millions of dollars that incentivize it are a huge part of the problem. If men didn’t engage we would also see less women engaging in it.
Playing the card that being a woman is easy because of this is extremely uncalled for and wrong. Being a woman and a man isn’t easy. Both have huge problems of their own. You’re just highlighting a narrowed perspective.
