In today’s day age, there is very few reasons anyone can’t upskill and earn more. It’s not just about it coping, work to earn to want more. Nothing wrong with that.

They earnt that money, unless someone is genuinely disabled, for whom I’m happy to cover and pay tax for. What’s stopping the rest from upskilling and earning more?

@andyburnham We can literally just use a virtual card, with a separate pot that has a limited funds inside. Once spent, the subscription literally can’t continue. People already have means to resolve this. If they can’t, then tough. Focus on actual solutions, not just for the bottom 10%.

@jtwebb @shivmalik So should quality of life get worse or stay shit overtime? Or do we actually want to improve living standards as time goes on. I know for my children, I wish they go on to live better lives than I have.
