@onyxholocron501@tomwarren People were fine back then because they have options and Sony was more trustworthy. But now is different because Sony has gotten more scummy. So to answer your question, the terms may have not changed but the company implementing it has.
@Pirat_Nation I feel bad for console players at this point. Not to mention these companies are pushing advertisements and cloud service into their games and console players are the ones who are going to be hit the hardest with these. PC on the other hand have more options
@PlayStation Remember, this is the same villain who tore wolverine's son into pieces and used the dismembered body parts of his son to spell the word happy birthday in front of wolverine
@Darket696 Not to mention these big companies are really pushing to add advertisement into their games and want people to play games through cloud. And console players are the most vulnerable to these since they have no other options
@StuAU47@DrainTheVeil@RockstarGames So you just admitted that it is the same formulaic copy pasted game where you just drive cars, shoot people, steal cars with a generic story about crooks and gangs and you just paid more because its Rockstar?
@DrainTheVeil@RockstarGames And people paid. That is the sad reality. Wait till you hear about Netflix and how people actually paid real money just to watch an advertisement
@brity1981 Im sorry but it seems you are the one creating your own problem. If this is your reason for living maybe go see a therapist? Its just a game
@8biteric Its not that gamers just become negative out of nowhere. Companies manufactured this hate. Take Sony for example. You can easily list the scummy thing theyve done this 2026 alone. This is not an isolated event. Its an accumulation of all these companies had done for years
@EightBitWarrior I dont think that is the sole reason though. If that is the only reason then you are right. I think it is much deeper than that. It is basically losing trust with Sony in my opinion
@Pirat_Nation Ive never understood this "turn based games are obsolete" mindset from developers. I still see a lot of people playing card games and board games and those are essentially turn based. There is an appeal to these types of games that will never go away
@xMBGx 0. I dont see anything in the gameplay that is worth the hype. If a game's only selling point is its story, then I'd rather watch it on youtube rather than pay 60-70$ to play it
