Best of luck to Rideau View member Lisa Weagle, the lead for Team Quebec at the @CurlingCanada #STOH2025. The Quebec rink, skipped by Laurie St-Georges, gets their Scotties underway Saturday against Manitoba's Kaitlyn Lawes.

To everyone in the Rideau View community ...

[Rideau View Golf @RideauViewGolf]

Our volunteer members were divided into two teams: one to spread the straw and the other to help our greens crew spread the tarps. 2/2

[Rideau View Golf @RideauViewGolf]

The willingness of members to donate their time (and backs) on behalf of the club is the foundation upon which Rideau View is built. Afterwards, a little something for the effort. The club and your fellow members appreciate your dedication.

[Rideau View Golf @RideauViewGolf]

A huge thanks to our dedicated members who turned out to help put our course to bed for the winter. Spreading insulating straw on our greens was introduced in Eastern Canada by our recently-retired super Gord MacMillan. 1/3

Look at these beauties! @TheSuperAJ @TimCBaines @CJ_Stevenson @Panger40 @SunDoniB @tsnjamesduthie and the Voice, Dave Schreiber who I don't believe is on Twitter. Brian Kilrea's 90th Birthday. 😀

[Liam Maguire @Liams_Hockey]

A night of nights for a true legend, Brian Kilrea. Happy 90th Birthday, Killer! With Pat Higgins, Killer, Donnie Gallant. Bobby Smith, Fred Barrett, couple of Minnesota North Stars who went to the 1981 Cup final. And with long time junior GM Sherry Bassin! 😀

[Rideau View Golf @RideauViewGolf]

There were many highlights, including music by @TerryMarcotte and the Ottawa Valley Outlaws, but ours was Brian crediting golf and the friends he's made at Rideau View playing a huge part in helping him get to his milestone birthday. Happy Birthday, Brian! 3/3

[Rideau View Golf @RideauViewGolf]

In addition to Rideau View's entourage, there was a great turnout of Brian's former players, a tribute to a man who had a huge influence on their lives. Fellow Hockey Hall of Famer Doug Wilson said he often sought Brian's advice as GM of the San Jose Sharks. 2/3

[Rideau View Golf @RideauViewGolf]

It was a privilege for Rideau View members and staff to share in the 90th birthday celebration of one of our own, Ottawa 67's legend and Hockey Hall of Famer Brian Kilrea Sunday at the Horticultural Building at Lansdowne Park. 1/3

[Matt Robinson @MattRobinsonPGA]

The 3rd Annual CHIP in for CHEO, hosted by my daughters Kathryn & Kristina Robinson, will take place October 18-20th at On The Green Family Golf Center.

They have both come a long way…and as a family we relied heavily on CHEO’s care.

If you have a spare minute, please give their donor page a read and, of course, if you have the means to support, please do.

The first $20,000 raised will be MATCHED! All funds raised will go to direct purchases of needed equipment.

Make A Difference!

We're so proud of the performance of our juniors who earned promotion to the top division at the @the_ovga Junior Intersectionals held at Smiths Falls. Well done, team. We look forward to the great things that no doubt await in your futures.
