@Robby_DeGraffAP None of the arguments in favor are actually things that need to be dealership services. OEM certified repair shops are all that's needed. Dealerships only adds cost and don't provide anything that DTC couldn't also provide. Needing laws in their favor to stay viable proves it.

@TamerlaneBlog My 91 ranger supposedly made 100 hp when new, and weighs 2820 lbs (1280ish kg?) and I would say that however many hp it's currently making is almost adequate. My wife's 4cyl Camry weighs 3300 lbs and makes 203 hp and that is well above adequate.

@rogergarbow I didn't technically own it but 93 civic. At the age of 19 I had driven almost exclusively big American rwd up to that point, but Honda had it right in the 90s. That double wishbone suspension / light chassis combo really inspired confidence pulling those lateral Gs
