My favorite Mother’s Day memory — my mom and I were at Mass at Our Lady of Guadalupe on the edge of the French Quarter, Rampart and Conti. The great Aaron Neville got up and sang the most beautiful rendition of Ave Maria I’ve ever heard in my life. 🥲
