Reminder that my gf and I released an album today. It's a free download. Go grab it if you like drum n bass, hardvapor, metal. Y'know, that sorta thing

It's kinda weird to me how much people seem to not talk about I'll Try Living Like This nowadays. I feel like it was a paradigm shift for vaporwave, but there's still nothing really like it (outside of just what dds is still putting out)
For anyone who hasn't listened to vaporwave and wants to, I feel like these you need to listen to these three albums in order to get a feel for the evolution
@sendookualt Not to say hunter-gatherers were all peaceful utopic hippies, just that life was really hard then, so patriarchies and matriarchies didn't really matter as far as group survival was concerned
@sendookualt Well, our understanding of human evolution is always changing, so it could be possible that what you said is what was scientific consensus at the time. I've personally never heard about forceful interbreeding, but y'know, science always changes as we understand more
@sendookualt Many scientists would argue that modern humans and other concurrent archeic humans were subspecies of each other. There's evidence that goes both ways
@sendookualt There's also no reason to believe that early Homo sapiens believed that neanderthals or other concurrent archaic humans weren't humans, either. Our understanding is that they acted similarly, looked similar, and had a similar level of intelligence.
