What a wonderful Remembrance memory. Sewing has been used as therapy since WW1, and was the pre-cursor to modern occupational therapy. 🧵❤️🧵

Our #museum has a gallery dedicated to the historic #artisans and #art of #Cambridgeshire. This beautiful hand-stitched embroidery was made by a WW1 soldier while he was recovering at a temporary hospital on Parker's Piece. It features Mother Goose
