@sonya_dora_ We use catty & tael, instead of kg, yet the definitions vary across Chinese mainland, HK, and Taiwan.
On Chinese mainland, 1 catty=0.5kg, 1 tael=0.05kg. #Doraemon weighs 258 catties+6 taels=129.3kg.
In HK, 129.3kg≈213 catties+12.7 taels.
In Taiwan, 129.3kg≈215 catties+8 taels.
@toadricetsu 🇻🇳Vietnamese Ao Dai store also in the Doraemon ep travels with his pals to Vietnam in 2026.
Kindly excuse me for barely to tell distinctions these with 🇨🇳Chinese Qipao, 🇰🇷Korean Hanbok, and 🇯🇵Japanese Kimono.
I haven’t studied art, after all. To me, they look way too similar.

@toadricetsu@KittFishy Just a heads-up, you mentioned “Cola.” Are you actually clued up on Wong Lo Kat, which’s considered the go-to alternative to Cola in Cantonese-speaking regions? The locals there think that it’s also totally drinkable, don’t they?

@ENJU1123PIPI I think anime fans in China (especially coastal) prefer subtitles to dubbing, except for shows like Doraemon.
When Japanese films played, theatres mostly showed sub ver, dubbed screenings were rare.
Chinese watch anime online, not via cable TV (which isn’t allowed to air anime).

@toadricetsu I came to a strongly believe right now:
I’ve now been granted a 2nd lifespan by the deities (or even probably the Divine Creator). All my painful yrs & every thing came beforehead were my 1st lifespan.
I yet struggle to hold this 2nd lifespan dear, or let go of the 1st.

@DoraemonHariIni I assume #Nobita in ‘#Doraemon’ can play Japanese-style Cup-and-Ball (‘Kendama’) by one of his feet, also good at String Figure, and falls asleep rapidly, isn’t bad.
Though people might be think ‘his skills are all trivial’, At least, he won’t be bothered by ‘the cannot-sleeps’.

I just watched Stand By Me Doraemon for the third time… IT’S STILL SO PEAK, I LOVE THIS MOVIE AND I LOVE NOBITA AND DORAEMON’S FRIENDSHIP RKRKEJDJEKSOSKEJKSKWJE
@toadricetsu Not disrespectful, when you brought up “a burger,” it occurred to me whether 🇮🇳 Indian Hindus tend to avoid consuming ’em…
Their dietary taboo involves meat from cattles. They often regard these, particularly Indian Zebu (hump-backed cattle), as sacrosanct for their traditions.

@toadricetsu Those that survive great calamities’re blessed with a 2nd chance. Yet I’m somebody with an allergic constitution…
I don’t truly focus on allergies. What’s always haunted me are still my bitter memories from 2017, 2018, 2019… They keep popping into my brain unbidden, so fed up.
@NobitaNotFake#Nobita, are you scarred of getting shocked by juice? Some Simplified Chinese users think Doraemon seems a bit frosty. You might not have done anything sketchy, just fail to crack brainteasers could get you zapped.
I legit feel for you, bud. It’s bogus…
