With Armenia’s elections taking place on 7 June, the Kremlin has moved into a more openly coercive phase, issuing overt threats designed to pressure and influence the outcome.
A deepfake claiming ‘Russia is preparing a special military operation’ against Armenia is circulating ahead of election day.
The objective is to inject fear, uncertainty, and a sense that Armenia’s democratic choices could trigger a military response.
Fear remains one of the oldest tools of information manipulation.
Russian propagandists:
“And how are things on the front line?”
“The situation is such that we have 17 drones per kilometer, while they have 10 drones for every one of our assault troops advancing.”
The fallen prime minister is asking about the migration pact.
Hungarians have a question as well: why didn’t @PM_ViktorOrban prevent the adoption of the pact in the European Union?
Why didn’t he?
Before voting has even begun in tomorrow's elections in Armenia, pro-Kremlin narratives are already alleging ‘massive election fraud’.
This is a common feature of election-related information manipulation: pre-emptively undermining trust in democratic processes and institutions before any evidence is available.
The objective is to ensure that any undesirable outcome can later be questioned.

Today is the 82nd anniversary of D-Day – the Allied landings in Normandy, which significantly hastened the countdown to the Nazis' collapse in World War II. It is one of the most important moments of unity among the defenders of life in human history, and it was less than a year until the peoples’ aspiration for freedom and the hope of peace prevailed in May 1945. It happened then. We are working to make it happen again today.
And although yesterday in Petersburg another cynical order to continue killing was issued for the army trying to destroy our freedom, history has seen this before. The Nazis also had their own hopes after D-Day. But freedom still wins. And even in the darkest circumstances, people find ways to come together to protect life.
I thank all those who are now helping to protect the values that prevailed in World War II. I thank everyone who is defending life. Glory to Ukraine!
❗️NATO countries are considering the possibility of providing Ukraine with new military aid worth €70 billion. This is expected to be announced during the Alliance’s summit in Ankara on July 7-8, — Politico.
Discussions on this issue are currently ongoing.
It is time to end this war. But Russia’s ruler wants to keep fighting. That is why Ukrainian sanctions against this aggression are working. Last night, our drones covered a distance of about 1,000 kilometers to the St. Petersburg region – to the enemy navy’s arsenals and a base in Kronstadt. Our long-range sanctions also reached about 500 kilometers into the Krasnodar region – and hit an oil depot. These are important results of the joint efforts by warriors from the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the Security Service of Ukraine, and the Defense Intelligence of Ukraine. Russia must end its war and stop its attacks on life. Any manifestation of injustice against Ukraine will receive a just response. I thank our warriors for their precision.
Three years ago, Russia destroyed the Kakhovka Hydroelectric Power Plant dam, causing one of the largest man-made environmental disasters in Europe in recent decades.
Vast areas were flooded, the Kakhovka Reservoir was destroyed, and hundreds of thousands of people lost access to drinking water. This crime also threatened the stable operation of the Zaporizhzhia Nuclear Power Plant, the largest nuclear power plant in Europe.
The exact number of victims remains unknown. The temporarily occupied part of the Kherson region suffered the most severe impact, and the full scale of human losses there can not be established. At least tens of thousands of people were affected.
Russia must be held accountable for the destruction of the Kakhovka Hydroelectric Power Plant and for all crimes committed during its war against Ukraine.

82 years ago, on the beaches of Normandy, brave British and Allied forces changed the course of history forever.
We must never forget the service and sacrifice of those courageous men and women.
Our debt to them can never be repaid.
🤡 Putin claimed that Ukrainian drones had struck a coal terminal in St. Petersburg
The problem is that it was an oil terminal that was on fire.
Looks like the smoke reached the Kremlin, but the information didn’t.
❗️"Armenia's elections will not be considered legitimate," — Medvedev
According to Russia's most famous drinking enthusiast, Nikol Pashinyan is allegedly trying to remove all of his political rivals before the vote, meaning the results would not reflect the genuine will of the people.
Funny. Those accusations are usually aimed at a very different country.
