In Nicaragua, one of the most challenging hikes is to the summit of Cerro Mogotón on the border with Honduras. The country's highest peak, it rises 6,841 feet (2,107 m) above sea level!

Rather than ditching any sticks one of them sat backwards to steady the bundle, and off to school.

Yesterday I met Russell Maddicks & his son at the presentation of their trip to San Francisco Libre, Nicaragua at @RISC_Reading. I also spoke with the Nicaraguan Ambassador and learnt more about the projects supported by @SflReading for a better life in San Francisco Libre.
