NOSSA COPA É ESSA: ASSISTA AO SHOW DE BOLA Q MENDONÇA DEU NA IMPUNIDADE
#acordabrasil
🇧🇷🇺🇸 BRAZIL’S SUPREME COURT IS PREPARING TO CONVICT ME IN RETALIATION AGAINST PRES. TRUMP
This is how a political court operates - and Trump knows better than anyone how lawfare can be weaponized against political opponents.
President @realDonaldTrump , Secretary Rubio, and Secretary Bessent: the reinstatement of sanctions against the human rights violator Alexandre de Moraes is both necessary and urgent. I do not know who advised the suspension of those sanctions, but doing so was, at the very least, a serious mistake. They are now confortable to do things such like in this news.
Moraes is waiting for the return of a radical Democratic administration in the U.S. so that, together, they can do to you what they are doing to me today.
Consider the audacity of their accusations: they claim that I committed a crime by engaging with officials of the American government. Such an allegation effectively treats the Trump administration itself as if it were a criminal organization.
They despise freedom. They oppose the values represented by your administration. And they harbor the same hostility toward you, @SecRubio, @SecScottBessent , and everyone who serves in your government.
History has repeatedly shown that those willing to silence their political opponents within their own countries will not hesitate to target anyone abroad who stands in defense of liberty.
Imagine that an American judge sends secret orders by email to Brazilian companies. The orders require them to take actions inside Brazil that violate Brazilian law. The Brazilian executives are told in the email by the American judge not to notify Brazilian authorities or anyone else about the secret order.
Would anyone in Brasília call that “respect for American sovereignty”?
Sovereignty is not a one way shield. If a Brazilian Supreme Court justice wants his orders to have effect in another country, he must go through that country’s law, courts, and due process. That principle protects Brazil.
It also protects the United States.
The deadline for Justice Alexandre de Moraes to respond in the Rumble/Trump Media case expired yesterday. No appearance. No request for more time.
The Government of Brazil did appear to argue sovereignty and clarified it did not appear for Moraes. Its own filing says it raises the defense “on its own behalf exclusively,” and its lawyers identify themselves as counsel for the Federative Republic of Brazil, not counsel for Moraes.
To argue Brazilian sovereignty while Moraes simultaneously violates U.S. laws is the right of the Government of Brazil. The federal court in Florida will hear those arguments in due course.
