Some folks have said that having teachers submit their lesson plans is good for "accountability," but I want to unpack this a bit and push back on it.

I can’t believe we have to say this, but teachers unions aren’t terrorist organizations.

Oklahoma saw the horror true terrorism brings in Tulsa in May 1921 & in OKC in April 1995.

Ryan Walters’ insulting decision to label our teachers as terrorists is sick, perverse & pathetic.

Oklahoma is sitting on a budget surplus but has proposed to cut the education budget for teacher pay raises. I work with some amazing educators and see the difference they make. To improve #oklaed we need to invest in Ts, not take away their funding- raises or federal funding.
