Great meeting @MrGOLoughlin@bishopyoungce today. Talking all things Physical Literacy, Curriculum and assessment. Great school, Great Practitioner - looking forward to further collaboration.
4. Moving away from a Sports PE model
Iโll keep this short, why are we fixated on teaching organised sport in our PE curriculum when only 10% of 16-25 year olds participate in organised sport. What about the other 90% and their relationships with Physical Activity @dpcooke1
๐จI have created a thread on my key reflections and accountability points that I believe we should be able to start to collectively answer at the next LTAD conference if we are serious about youth health concerns.

3. Relaying the message
The big question for me is for those in attendance, how do we relay some of the key messages from the LTAD conference and get others on board with i.e. Physical Literacy @ktconditioning or a more holistic development @DrSergioLara_EU@bmegicks
Loved showcasing how to use the Dragon Challenge to provide a better understanding of young peopleโs movement competence at the LTAD conference. Brilliant engagement, participation and enthusiasm throughout the session. Thank you @ffionthompson @ktconditioning @GsalSport
Great final session @dpcooke1 position PE & School Sport as the connective catalyst for Physical Literacy and the PE Teacher as the change maker. What a way to get people thinking at the end of a great conference. Lots to consider this weekend ๐ก
What a week this has been! It has been an absolute honour to watch and coach these girls across the year ๐ซก. They are incredible ambassadors for girls football and the school. Iโm sure they will have memories lasting forever. Girls football continues to rise and grow strong ๐
