Interstate 29 from exits 60 to 56 (South Fargo) is temporarily closed overnight (9pm to 5am) due to construction of overhead beams. This closure will occur some nights for the next two weeks. A detour to County 81 is in place. Follow the sign and everyone will be fine. #NDHP283

Why do we stress about speed? The faster you go, the less traction available to negotiate a curve. Fortunately this driver is alive after failing to negotiate a curve from 32nd Ave S to an I29 ramp and overturning (Fargo). 61, sunny, and dry. Zero excuses. #NDHP283 #VisionZeroND

This rider is lucky to be alive after failing to negotiate a curve and running off the road. The rider was not wearing a helmet, suffering serious injuries to the head. Remember: All The Gear, All The Time! Many fatals occur annually due to no helmets. #VisionZeroND #NDHP283

Fargo area update: Fargo PD is handling a call with an individual at 45th Street/I94 in Fargo. Motorists are asked to avoid I94 from I29 to Veterans Boulevard due to a road closure at this time. We will advise when the situation is resolved. @FargoPolice @CassNDSheriff #NDHP283

Today a Fargo Trooper stopped this car going 108 mph (75 zone), no seat belt, & failing to maintain lane. The driver was arrested for DUI, refusing testing. DUI driving, speeding, & no seat belt use continue to be top factors in fatalities in ND, even during the day. #NDHP283

Not our typical “crash” day! Just before 4 pm, Fargo Troopers responded to a downed aircraft just NW of West Fargo. The pilot was the only occupant and was transported for serious injuries. This is one of two plane crashes the NDHP assisted with statewide today. #NDHP283

Fargo Troops are currently working the scene of a minor injury crash with disabled vehicles at the Tri-Level. Westbound traffic is restricted to one lane. As a reminder, be cautious of slowing traffic and changing conditions, especially during the afternoon rush. #NDHP283

The Minot area is being blanketed in snow, making travel very difficult. Slow down, buckle up, headlights on, and cruise off! ABS/AWD won’t save you with poor traction. This driver was lucky to not be seriously injured on 52 near Sawyer after a crash with a semi. #NDHP283

What wind chill? This afternoon these hardened Minot troops braved the cold for over an hour to measure a serious injury crash from last night near Carpio, ND. They can’t pick the weather, but they did choose to ensure crashes like this are professionally investigated. #NDHP250
