Yesterday, we screened Mental and Zero, and had a masterclass. The large hall which can accommodate 300 people was packed for Zero. After the screening, a lady came up to me still crying, which touched me deeply.

An Italian photographer/filmmaker Stefano Missio took our photos this morning. He’s preparing a photo exhibition at the Center Pompidou next spring featuring 45 documentary filmmakers around the world to celebrate 45 anniversary of Cinema du reel documentary festival. So honored.

Today in Paris, we had screenings of Inland Sea and Zero. We also had interviews with Les Cahiers du Cinema and Critikat. Journalists we met today seem to have studied many of our films deeply thus their questions were eye opening. Tomorrow we’ll screen Oyster Factory at 16:15.

Our film Zero will be theatrically released in France starting from next month. To commemorate our release, Mental and Zero will be screened on Dec 6 in Paris. Kiyoko and I will be there, physically. So see you!
