If you're among those hoping there's still a chance the Bears will reach a deal to build a new stadium on Chicago's lakefront, here's why a small group poses a big hurdle to that happening...
@UnSportsESPN@ChrisCanty99@msmallmon Have a wholistic view. Soldier is operated by city. The renovation was poorly done. There is no land big enough in the city. The fan experience is poor. Hammond is closer than Arlington. Traveling to Soldier is brutal. No tailgate area
@CLSportScience@10zJohnson Absolutely, you haven’t been playing attention. Every rendering for the past 3 years shows a domed stadium. Exact 0 were without a roof
@danholyo@jacobinfante24 You may not care, but a business generally wants to own the property they operate on, because it can increase revenue. There is the fan perspective and the business perspective- not only a Bears thing.
@MikeGrinnell_@BearsNationCHI The Bears don’t own Soldier Field and have zero control of it. Because of Chicago mismanagement of their budget they own money and are trying to get the Bears pay it. The Bears owe nothing to the city other than rent on Soldier Field. Plus the Friends of the Park will object.

@JeromeBlack93@dwcprodz@HGrahamNFL Why was it problem in college? Why does he choose teams that struggle offensively. Not the Chiefs obviously. He choose Pittsburgh. He choose the Jets. Confidence doesn’t fix vision.
@JeromeBlack93@dwcprodz@HGrahamNFL If you look at Fields draft profile. It proved to be true. He has struggles that systems don’t fix. He doesn’t see the field well and doesn’t see open receivers. Coaching can’t fix field vision
@PKP8062@CourtneyRCronin The Bears paid everything they were supposed to on Soldier Field. The City of Chicago made decisions after the fact that caused them to have not paid their part. Remember the city owns Soldier Field not the Bears. The Bears have been their required rent.
