Being middle class in India feels like a trap.

Salary gets credited to your bank account.

TDS has already been deducted, so you receive your salary after income tax.

⬇️
You decide to save and invest your hard-earned money in stocks, mutual funds or FDs.

⬇️
Your investment grows and you earn a profit.

⬇️
You pay tax on those gains as well (depending on the type of investment).

⬇️
Now you decide to buy a TV, phone, laptop or any other product.

⬇️
You pay GST on that purchase.

⬇️
You go out for lunch or dinner with your family.

⬇️
The restaurant bill includes GST too.

⬇️
From earning, to investing, to spending...
at almost every stage, there's some form of tax involved.

I'm not saying taxes shouldn't exist , they're essential for running a country. But as a salaried middle class person, it can sometimes feel like you're paying taxes at almost every step of your financial journey.

In India, if a tax-paying employee gets laid off after contributing to the system for years, the government must ensure the following:

1. Unemployment allowance for at least 6 months
2. Loan moratorium for 6 months
3. Free access to healthcare facilities funded by Govt.
4. Protection of credit score during unemployment
5. Mental health & career counseling support

If you can collect taxes without fail, you better start protecting those who pay them. Enough of this one-sided exploitation.🙏

Out of 5 semiconductor companies, one was given to Assam. I welcome it. Assam also needs to grow. But the remaining 4 went to Gujarat. The argument being put forward by BJP supporters is that Gujarat already has an ecosystem to establish semiconductor industry. So, what ecosystem Assam has?

So the truth is if Modi wants to give, he can give. Why he gave 80% of semiconductor companies to one state, Gujarat? Who was behind semiconductor investments originally intended for Tamil Nadu and Maharashtra, to move to Gujarat?

If it can be allocated to Assam, why not to Andhra Pradesh or Bihar or Madhya Pradesh? These states very badly need industries and growth. Why this government is Gujarat centric?

#MicrosoftFabric With #onelake architect it seems like it would have problem with scaling once it is exposed to big size of data, because you are storing and processing data from same location , which is a strict no no when dealing with scaling problem.
