@MrOvis_@CielaNox There are 3 distinct sects of Vtuber
1. Vtubers that live by Keyfabe (What VT started as)
2. Vtubers that are using avatars but are just themselves behind it
3. Vtubers that alternate with IRL and Avatar
Unfortunately it's hard to differentiate unless you watch them
@Luckyjene This is such ass advice
Vtubing is an oversaturated niche and you still have to have a niche outside Vtubing to grow. A niche is a differentiator. Instead of admitting you're wrong, you're just falling back on being pedantic.
@kariha_moon5 Seeing VGen discourse and then it's always from Vtubers that weren't around pre-vgen and never experienced the headache finding and commissioning artists was before it existed.
@Ravenger___@StarreiiNytVT "did this specific one"
So you're saying this gimmick already existed in some facet and you don't own it. Welcome to social media.
@BatLycusx Here's the thing
You can talk about how being an artist is a business and then complain about being a price tag. That's literally what being a business is. Either you're a business or you aren't but you can't pick and choose when it suits you.
@Lychibe You would be thrilled to know, it's actually most of them. The worst people I've known in this community have been the ones who never shut up about how accepting and inclusive they are.
@takasiraVT I'm saying. The big issue is even if someone warns them about the impact of engaging with that stuff, they just double down and take the"well I don't wanna associate with them anyways".
Que a post 2 weeks later about how their post reach sucks and they aren't getting sponsors.
