@locust9 I feel you. It's easy to feel shit about what you did since the loudest feedback is always negative. Try to remind yourself that there are thousands of happy players out there, silently enjoying a game you made at any given minute. You can and should be proud of that!
Game devs, I remember seeing a talk or blog about open world map design, specifically boxing the player into a tutorial zone early on and gradually opening zones up. Maybe about Horizon? Can't find it anymore. Anyone knows what I am talking about?

Da es völlig zu Unrecht keinen Preis bekommen hat, verleihe ich hiermit den Preis für das beste Taubenspiel an Fall of Porcupine. WIE TOLL SIEHT DAS DENN AUS?!? #derDCP
@ZenOfDesign This is exactly what Bandit means in the episode "Stickbird" when he mournfully says "When you put something beautiful into the world, it's not really yours anymore!" What a bunch of whiny idiots.
@chriswulf_ What's worse, it was usable around, like, 2004? I remember a whole editing house running on SharePoint connected with Adobe stuff somehow. Now, I can't even imagine how to set that up with all the Azure, Office, Teams shenanigans.
There's a lot of complain about Germany. But also we might want to remember sometimes that we are pretty fortunate to live here. Good thread about UK-GE comparison.
Here's a little look at German cost of living vs British cost of living, which goes a long way to explain why British people are suffering- despite the UK being ome of the richest countries in the world
