Guys… it is NOT easy for a woman living in the West to put on hijab.

Let’s not undermine the complexity of it.

Especially for unmarried Muslim women who need to work, support themselves, and don’t have proper Muslim guardians or a strong support system around them.

And I know this isn’t just theoretical because I’ve had many sisters message me saying they’ve applied for jobs wearing hijab and never even got a call back.

Then they sent the exact same CV with a photo without hijab…

And suddenly they got a response.

So when you say, “It shouldn’t be hard to put hijab on”…

Lol. You’re talking nonsense.

It IS hard.

Before judging Muslim women for struggling with hijab in the West, maybe we should start asking ourselves why so many sisters are forced to navigate these realities alone.

We need stronger Muslim communities. We need responsible Muslim men (fathers, brothers, husbands, uncles, grandpas…) stepping up. We need support systems.

Then maybe we can talk about judging sisters.
