@AdamMcCalvy I think the manager wanted to send a message to the team as a whole, so he picked the most vulnerable player. He wouldn't do that to a star. I expected him to walk down the line. He didn't run that bad. I don't think he would have made 2nd if his sprinted out of the box.
@FiresideYankees Perspective is everything. If you see a camera angle down the 3rd base line, you will see that Jim Palmer's retired number 22 is well foul of the line. This angle is distorted. The truth is Alonzo hit it so far above the poll that there was no angle to overturn the call.
@AVGirl4Life The economy, since Woodrow Wilson there have been 3 presidents who have lowered the deficit and left office with a surplus. Wilson, Johnson, and Clinton. All Democrats. Numbers never lie.
@snyyankees Last night YES showed a graphic of WAR, the bullpen for the year was 27th out of 28 teams. That is a track record. Williams is a bust. Doval is a bust, Leiter is a bust. I'll always be a fan, but I don't see any way you win the WS without a pen.
@amicsta I fear by putting Volpe out there everyday they are ending his career. He is young and can be a very good player, but he needs to sit and re-tool. The only way that happens is working with coaches and not learning on the job.
