Darkness

[Darkness @ShadowRhetoric]

@penialism2 @SJWheeljack If it was made today, it would be undoubtedly, the best film of the year. With a way better script, dialogue, and action scenes.

[Darkness @ShadowRhetoric]

@SJWheeljack No, they just had abjectly higher standards back then for "historical" films.

[Darkness @ShadowRhetoric]

@JustBeLikeWater @gautshen Nolan's movie was made to not flop that's the thing. We reward mediocrity with cool music and cinematic sequences and unneeded unnecessary introspection over actual substance and characterization.

[Darkness @ShadowRhetoric]

@Th_Angelopoulos Nolan not focusing on the proud and glorifying aspect of Odysseus' temperament is the issue.

[Darkness @ShadowRhetoric]

@ladboy0 @NY_LBSS @1followernodad @maiamindel so, the film and Odysseus were made for a modern audience; that's what people mean by woke.

[Darkness @ShadowRhetoric]

@LuciaLobosvilla @loganf2119 @maiamindel right-wing and sheltered conservative are not the same thing

[Darkness @ShadowRhetoric]

@romanhelmetguy Before the age of platonic psychosis

[Darkness @ShadowRhetoric]

@Cinescaping @artwithinpod I see the Sea peoples as the wrath of Zeus and the other Gods. Odysseus is fated to travel far and carry a sharp oar to a people who have never known the sea. Whether or not he gives them guidance, the Gods discharge them down the mediterranean all the same.

[Darkness @ShadowRhetoric]

@c_jesus23 @Garhtoline @thhouseofblack Yes, racists are smarter than leftist. We already knew.

[Darkness @ShadowRhetoric]

@OnefateX @benwehrman Just don't marry

[Darkness @ShadowRhetoric]

@xvise66 @HristoRayanov @esjesjesj @romanhelmetguy You are a bore. No wonder your wife cheats on you.

[Darkness @ShadowRhetoric]

@roryisconfused @SandraSim16 Twitter retard thinks people don't exaggerate their self-pity for community points

[Darkness @ShadowRhetoric]

@roryisconfused @AdamSmooth321 @cdcooley97 and it was shit. That's what people are saying

[Darkness @ShadowRhetoric]

@LenonLui @WagnerThomazoni City of Athena

[Darkness @ShadowRhetoric]

@bab_galsendeter @AtlanteanFelon "Without Us" some muslim from Quebec

[Darkness @ShadowRhetoric]

@stendhalist Why would the economic elite do that, you muppet

[Darkness @ShadowRhetoric]

@xvise66 @HristoRayanov @esjesjesj @romanhelmetguy "no one benefitted" I thought they all see it the same. God, you make me lose affirmation.

[Darkness @ShadowRhetoric]

@xvise66 @HristoRayanov @esjesjesj @romanhelmetguy I can't believe you're this stupid. taking this stance. I bet your brain is so wrapped, you don't even remember your first point.

[Darkness @ShadowRhetoric]

@xvise66 @HristoRayanov @esjesjesj @romanhelmetguy In a sentence for more mechanically minded folk like yourself: Everlasting glory is greater than an obscure life

[Darkness @ShadowRhetoric]

@xvise66 @HristoRayanov @esjesjesj @romanhelmetguy I already said they chose honor and glory over their own lives. The gods also encourage the war. Must I repeat everything to your lousy intuition.
