I woke up this morning to the smell of burning plastic. Either the house has a chance to burn down while I'm at work or I'm very sick.

After 7hrs of dismantling and assembling, I have my new desk set up and most of my stuff connected again. A few minor snags but I made it work.

I finally bought a new computer desk. Now to get the energy to take apart the new one today so I only have to put together the new one tomorrow after work.

I just received a truck at work and ended up chatting with the driver's wife for 10 mins about The Lord of the Rings lore all because there is a big smelly puddle in our dock area that reminded her of The Watcher of the Lake that tried to grab Frodo and Samwise.

We found a mouse in our home. It escaped into my room, I grabbed our cat to help out. She decided to hide underneath my bed for 30 mins while my roommate and I found and killed the thing. Cat has no clue and is still staking out underneath my bed.

I bought a new dual monitor mount the other day and after I installed it, I realized that I probably should get a new desk at some point as well. Just another thing to add to the list for upgrades I should make. 😑

The house across of mine had a large house fire last night. Apparently something inside the house exploded.
In true hood fashion, a crowd was out watching and getting in the way like they were cavemen seeing fire for the first time.
