@TizaTryhards I have a map published called Sanctuary. Medium-ish difficulty and youβd want to enable jumping to allow several shortcuts. Might not be perfect but lmk if you give it a try!
@TizaTryhards Sorry to hear it Tiza. Sincere thanks from the collegiate body for the work you have done, and for giving many students an amazing opportunity over the years. Wishing you the best.
And this was many years ago. It's sad but easy to see where things are trending today- with more imports and less investment by teams in academy, it's very likely to be a self fulfilling prophecy with lack of native talent for the foreseeable future.
What some people don't realize about NA amateur is that for every Copy, 5fire, etc there are many more talented individuals who (correctly) realize they shouldn't even bother trying to make it. There is no viable pipeline to LCS as either a player or caster in this region.
While managing a full engineering degree I maintained masters at mid lane and was getting recognized by riot talent as a caster- and I had friends far more talented than I who came to the same conclusion. Unless your risk tolerance is insane, the math to pursue doesn't work out.
Had a great time at LCS in Raleigh today! Saw many friends new and old, as well as some I'd never gotten the pleasure of meeting in person before.
I may not love the game as much after a decade of playing but the competition and community will always be amazing.
@Aethelryn @myra__davis If you're anywhere from 4th-7th or so best school in your conference, intentionally losing and 2-0'ing the other teams (who will be lower rated from loss and lose faster) will give you an unbeatable 11-2 game record with the fastest time for 3rd seed in playoffs. Very cool Riot
@Aethelryn @myra__davis Yeah it's best to speedrun lower ranked teams w1/w2. Also if you are confident you can't contest for top two in your region (scholarship schools) it is still best to LOSE week 3 in 1-2 fashion and take the easy and fast 2-0s for the rest of the swiss for an easy 3rd seed.
@lolrbm They already cut scholarship funding by 70% a few years back and funneled it to where only scholarship schools can really compete for it, although I doubt Tiza really has a say in whether it happens if it has anything to do with money
@CoachJuliusLoL Itβs realities like this that contribute to talented players not even bothering trying to make it esports. Clearly with the state of NA luck and connections are at least as important as skill, so why commit your time to a dice roll when you can pursue literally anything else?
Update on my last tweet, I can now officially join the college lol retirement home
Had no idea I could achieve this when I started playing again just a month ago!
I know it's not the biggest accomplishment, but played some TFT again after a long break, and can now say I've been diamond in three riot games lol. Highrolled the promotion game with a 3* velkoz for first.
