I used to think the Reality Stone should have been enough for Thanos until I actually thought about what he was trying to do. He did not want to just change reality. He wanted to erase half of all life permanently, instantly, across every planet in the universe simultaneously. That’s six jobs at once.
The Reality Stone changes things but the effect fades without the Power Stone amplifying it. Nothing stays permanent without the Time Stone. He cannot target living beings without the Soul Stone. He cannot reach everywhere at once without the Space Stone. Without the Mind Stone holding all six together the gauntlet kills him before the snap lands.
The Reality Stone is the most powerful instrument in the orchestra. But you cannot fill a universe with sound using one instrument alone. Thanos was not being cautious collecting all six. He was being precise.
Why are there so many Targaryen descendants in Game of Thrones, but almost no one talks about the children of Rhaenyra and Daemon? Where did their bloodline actually go?
I’m not against someone else taking up the Black Panther mantle someday, but I honestly think it would be too soon. Shuri has already come a long way, and there’s still so much more they can do with her character.
I’d rather see Black Panther 3 focus on her growing into the role than rush to pass the mantle to someone else.
I agree. Shuri has already earned her place as the Black Panther. Her journey from a brilliant but inexperienced princess to someone willing to carry Wakanda’s greatest responsibility gives the character plenty of room to develop.
Rewatching Eternals and I noticed something that really got me thinking…. Ajak said Thanos’ Snap happened five years ago, so where were the Eternals during Infinity War?
If they knew what was happening with Thanos, why didn’t they step in and help the Avengers?
Star-Lord from the Guardians of the Galaxy movies probably still thinks Santa is real. He was taken from Earth as a kid and then raised in space around aliens and crazy creatures the rest of his life. He probably assumes Santa is an alien.
Best I can think of:
HWR messed with his own timepad. When Sylvie took it and sent Loki back to the TVA it sent him to the past TVA, which normally is impossible. Since Loki was sent to an impossible time period, in a location outside of time, Lokis entire being was in Flux. His Temporal Aura kept trying to rip him back to where he was supposed to be- in the future. But the TVA has no future or past, so he just kept jumping around the TVA. All of which should be impossible.
