BREAKING: HELL YEAH! Democrat Alexander Vindman blindsides Republicans after losing his Senate primary by announcing that he's transferring $250,000 from his war chest to key Democratic races.
This is the power of blue unity...
“Voters across the country, especially here in Florida, know that nothing is more important than flipping the U.S. Senate,” said Vindman, who has already endorsed Angie Nixon, the Democratic Socialist who beat him out for the nomination.
“The only way to cut costs for working families, root out corruption in D.C., and finally hold the Trump administration accountable is to deliver a Democratic majority this November," he added. "I am proud to invest in Florida and across the country to make sure Democrats win big on Election Day up and down the ballot.”
The massive chunk of change will now flow into the Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee and will specifically boost the campaigns of Senate nominees Charles Booker, Sherrod Brown, Roy Cooper, Abdul El-Sayed, Troy Jackson, Chris Pappas, Mary Peltola, Josh Turek as well as Dan Osborn, who has no formal party affiliation, in Nebraska.
On top of that, Vindman’s defeated campaign has donated an additional $400,000 to the Florida Democratic Party to help win elections across the state, including Nixon's.
“Florida Democrats have a strong slate of candidates ready to lead, from the federal level all the way down to School Boards and County Commissions, and I want to make sure they have the resources they need to win,” Vindman said after the 400k donation. “Beating Donald Trump’s agenda means winning at every level, and I’m all-in to help Democrats do exactly that this November.”
This is what true patriotism looks like. It would have been so easy for Vindman to take his ball and go home, or to petulantly withhold his endorsement from Nixon out of spite. But he recognizes that there is far too much at stake. MAGA threatens the very existence of our democracy and defeating Trump is more important than any one man's political career.
Alexander Vindman, we thank you!
Please ❤️ and share to show your thanks!
I still call it Lake Ontario, and the Kennedy Center, and the Department of Defense, and the Gulf of Mexico. I predict with great certainty that almost all Americans will too a few years from now. This fever will break. The Trump era is winding down.
BREAKING: Doctors have now given themselves an A+ on the heart surgery and given me the clearance to resume The Countdown With Keith Olbermann Podcast, Thursday morning September 10. Available wherever you podcast plus a new FULL video version on YouTube for you masochists🤦🏼♂️
Yes Oliver, I've had many kitties in my life.
They were all very special just like you.
Don't worry, I'm not sad anymore.
You and your brothers are here.
And that's what matters now.

Donald trump is sending loud and clear messages that he's lost his f*cking mind, and people are just acting like the guy with the nuclear codes is perfectly fine.
This rotten Jack-o-Lantern is renaming Lakes and threatening to demolish the Kennedy Center.
He posts nonsense from his Truth Social that makes him look like a complete idiot.
He keeps an unhinged groupie close to him because she feeds his delusions like thinking he's the greatest President in history when he's really dead last.
Russia sees this.
China sees this.
Iran sees this.
And Republicans are fine with watching him fiddle while the country burns on unaffordability.
None of this is normal.
I can’t believe this is a post that I am making.
It has been confirmed by MSNOW, that the sailor who tried to commit suicide…by jumping off the USS Lincoln…is being charged by the Navy…and may face a cut in pay
I would like to say “FUCK YOU,” to every member of this administration.
Somebody set out to prove hill sheep are wrecking the uplands last week and did it with a photograph of Doris, which was a mistake, because the fell she is standing on is the whole answer and because the internet had other plans for the picture.
The thread was competent. Sixteen posts, sourced, no shouting. Overgrazing has stripped the hills bare, the sheep have to come off, nothing recovers until they do. The photograph at the top was lifted off a walking account. Texel ewe, wet ground, rough grass, a wall behind her, captioned as what we have done to the uplands.
Underneath it, in order:
"Mate, I can name three species in that sward from a phone screen."
"What are the tussocks along the bottom? Genuine question."
"Purple moor grass. That's what the fell does when nothing eats it. Nothing else gets light under it."
"Sorry, unrelated, but she's a lovely ewe."
"She really is. Look at the width on her."
"Can we stay on topic."
[four hours, nothing]
"Right. I've been reading about Molinia. I did not know any of this."
"That ewe won't be up there by accident either. She'll be hefted."
"Hefted?"
"She holds that ground because her mother walked her round it as a lamb. No fence, no gate. It's inherited. Sell her and the map goes with her."
"So the sheep isn't ON the hill, she's sort of holding it?"
"Now you've got it."
"How long to build a new heft if you lose one?"
"Twenty years, if you can be bothered. Mostly nobody can."
"Does she have a name"
"Can we PLEASE stay on topic"
By the second day it had stopped being a thread and turned into an evening class with one man at the front who had not agreed to teach it.
The author did not delete it, and he deserves that on the record, because deleting it is the easy afternoon. He posted at the end that the problem he was describing is real, that he had chosen a photograph which proved the opposite, and that he had spent a week looking at a managed system and calling it damage.
He follows four hill farmers.
The most liked reply on the whole thing is three words long and reads: "great sheep though."
Doris does not know she was in a photograph, or a thread, or an argument, or that a stranger has called her lovely in front of eleven thousand people. She came through Brian's wall on Thursday, grazed the base of it for two hours, and went home.
She has been running that seminar for six years without saying a word, and she has never once acknowledged a compliment in her life.
