@TolArt2013@MrKipler1@morisdreadvale I think just purely on an economical level they don't wanna make seperate homebases when they could just make one. I could see there being a little Alliance area but I think the days of making faction specific locations and questlines are pretty much over
@MrKipler1@TolArt2013@morisdreadvale I do wonder if thats the end goal here! like they're redoing the cities one at a time while making them open to both factions. they kinda started it with Boralus in the anniversary (and the Horde leaders were hanging at Jaina's house in the novella) so maybe this is the next step
@TolArt2013@MrKipler1@morisdreadvale that's the other thing this is all pure speculation. it's likely Silvermoon will be damaged as an excuse to rebuild the map with the modern design philosophy but it's not gone and going by TWW whatever is happening with Lor'Themar is not a permadeath. theyre over that edgy phase
@MrKipler1@TolArt2013@morisdreadvale I think the bigger problem is that Bizz is trying real hard to move past the faction seperation entirely. I agree with that choice both on a narrative and practical level but I feel like in doing that they aren't considering that many players still have strong faction loyalty
@MrKipler1@TolArt2013@morisdreadvale I totally feel that and I'm with you on the portrait thing. tho my optimistic guess is that that's more related to who was big in TWW and we'll get more portraits with Horde characters quickly
@TolArt2013@MrKipler1@morisdreadvale ah I think it's just a strong emotional response needing a moment to adjust to an actual discussion. it's easy for me to keep a cool head bc Im not one for faction fanaticism but there's no denying Blizz fostered that attitude in the early days it's not gonna vanish overnighy
@MrKipler1@TolArt2013@morisdreadvale haha totally understandable! it's kinda squeezed in the middle of a lot of content that's not related to it. it sticks out to me bc I'm a big Worgen fan lol
fwiw I really loved the Horde's part in that one tho I'm obviously biased being a peace loving and Lilian Voss enjoyer
@MrKipler1@TolArt2013@morisdreadvale okay so that's a third seperate thing you're bringing up here. Silvermoon is central to the expansion so obviously the Alliance needs to help same way the Horde helped reclaiming Gilneas and defending Nordrassil. content just isnt seperated much anymore
@MrKipler1@TolArt2013@morisdreadvale it just kinda seems like you're shifting the goalposts here? the discussion was on whether the Horde had lost more cities than the Alliance or not and it provably has not. whether or not the Horde has been villainized is an entirely seperate thing and one far more complex at that
@MrKipler1@TolArt2013@morisdreadvale well if we're not counting losses that were eventually rebuilt that would also put the Horde at 0. and Teldrassil was not rebuilt it's still ash the survivors were just rehomed. I'm not trying to step on your feelings here but this claim is just not rooted in actual numbers
@MrKipler1@TolArt2013@morisdreadvale I mean going by sheer statistics dude's not wrong? Horde could do with more focus sure but depending on how you count losing Silvermoon would at worst make the numbers even or arguably still have the Alliance at more city losses?
Everyone has their favorite main story character or racial leader in WoW, but what I want to know is: what are people's Warcraft Glup Shittos?
Give me your obscure, "only mattered 10 years ago" one-off characters that you love in WoW.
Nobody asked for this, but I did this so that people understand that expensive animation is NOT ALWAYS needed. Budget and time are allocated to what is MAIN.
Don't laugh at cheaper work, thanks to it, people have time and energy to make something cool.
@lesbigoblin@transmogen @nafythe I mean if you hate c2's centrism you migjt genuinely enjoy c3! the most avid c3 haters are in fact defenders of c2's ending that hate how c3/bells hells did opt for massive societal change!
