First thoughts on “Love Unseen Beneath the Clear Night Sky”
This anime is going to be a very slow burn but I feel in a good way with the pacing being slow in ways and fast in others to give a nice balance. I already can’t wait for episode 2!
Visuals
With the studio Project No.9 behind this show they deliver a nice clean animation that we have known them to do for a long time. A nice and warm background and solid character designs that fit with the theme of Rom-Com. 9/10 (3/3)
Oh Boy, Was I Wrong About Her episode 1 Review
While this may not be the first Rom-Com where childhood friends meet again after so long. It does give it a refreshing feel with how the two leads give off a nice natural friendship after not seeing each other for seven years. (1/3)
Characters
We are introduced to a few characters being the male lead Hayato who is a laid back person that can pretty much talk to anyone. The female lead Haruki who is Hayato's childhood friend who to the school is more composed but to Hayato is her natural casual self. (2/3)
Visually speaking the show is in a good spot for the genre that it’s in and the story gives off a nice My Happy Marriage vibe. I recommend giving this a watch if you are into fantasy romance with slice of life aspects. 8.5/10 (2/2)
The Ogre’s Bride episode 1 review
The first half of the episode uses its time to give you universe lore and a good amount of backstory with most of the characters. The second half of the episode definitely picks up the pace and shows you the hard life the MC is living. (1/2)
Kaiju Girl Caramelise episode one review
I was a little hesitant watching the trailer for this anime but I can say after watching the first episode this show will be a great comfy watch for this season of rom-coms. 8/10
